Cohesive granular media have broad applications in industries. However, our understanding of their flow behavior is still limited compared to dry media, although rich knowledge about static and plastic properties has been gained. In this paper, we provide some insights into the cohesive from recent numerical studies using an inclined plane a shear cell. We evidence that nature flows significantly affected by material particles like stiffness inelasticity addition inter-particle adhesion introduce concept “effective” adhesion, which incorporates effects these three variables. propose constitutive relations involving dimensionless inertial number cohesion number, based on describe rheology. also show increasing increases hysteresis evidencing existence prominent weakening branch friction coefficient versus rheological curve. Moreover, reveal gives rise occurrence banding instability, pointing possibility jamming media. Finally, present promising experimental approach investigate materials, simple method preparing long time stable medium with controlled between particles.
